Jatropha Curcas is normally
propagated through seeds. The Jatropha Curcas seeds resemble
castor in seed shape and black in color. The fruit has three
chambered green capsule with three one seeded cocci. The
seeds become mature, when the capsule changes from green
to yellow. Well developed seeds are selected for sowing
and the saplings are produced to raise the plantations.
The organic manure is applied initially and later with fertilizer
such as N, P and K can be applied.
